From high seas to open road
One of the latest crazes to swamp the cruise industry: hitting the open road on a Harley Road King or Heritage Classic motorcycle.
“Harley Davidson® has established rental locations throughout the world to accommodate the growing cadre of international road warriors,” the company says.
All rentals are late-model Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, serviced and maintained to strict company standards.
All riders must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid motorcycle operator’s license and have a major credit card.
CruiseCompete.com has a listing of rental locations that include worldwide destinations.
The site suggests seeing Rome on a Harley riding along the Appian Way is a unique way of viewing the Eternal City of Caesar’s Roman Legions.
