FTA appoints Globus exec to advisory council
The Faith Travel Association has announced the appointment of Joanna Dyer as the newest member of its Advisory Council.
Dyer is manager of emerging markets at Globus.
During a 14-year career at Globus, she has a decade of experience of faith-based travel in training, marketing and creating itineraries.
Globus was one of the first major tour operators to focus on the faith-based travel segment.
Dyer will meet with other members of the advisory council monthly to offer guidance and strategic planning for the Association.
Advisory board members hold senior positions in various sectors of the faith travel industry, and include Tina Abellanosa from Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Resort, Cindi Brodhecker at Priscilla Woman’s Tours, Edita Krunic with Select International Tours & Cruises, and Paul Larsen fom Ed-Ventures. Inc.
"The potential for the faith-based travel market around the world is enormous," said Z. Allen Abbott, FTA executive director.
"Joanna’s background and experience will provide a global perspective that will assist us strategically as we look to grow the Faith Travel Association worldwide."
