Full catering returns to Eurostar
Eurostar is reinstating full catering on its services following changes to Covid guidelines.
But small changes to pre-pandemic services will take place to reduce contact during food service.
They include lids kept on dishes served at seat while accompaniments such as bread and pastries will be served in packaging to ensure minimal contact.
In addition, anti-viral wipes and anti-viral hand gel are now offered to travellers with at-seat food service. Menus will also soon be available online using a QR code.
In Café Metropole, customers are advised to pay by card if possible, to remove contact with cash.
Meanwhile, the rail operator said all fares are now available to exchange with no fee, up to 14 days before departure for all bookings until 31 December.
