Further delays at Heathrow as fog clears
Around 40 flights out of Heathrow are expected to be cancelled today because of knock-on effects from fog which grounded 280 planes there on Wednesday.
The airport says both arrivals and departures will be hit, although conditions are improving.
Problems were also reported at London City Airport, where all flights yesterday were delayed or cancelled.
Gatwick, Luton and Stansted said flights were operating normally this morning.
