Galileo: new complete pricing
Galileo International Inc. announced an upgraded hotel pricing display called Complete Pricing.
The display now provides Galileo-connected agents with the complete price, including all taxes and surcharges to the basic nightly rate.
The move allows agents to be confident they are quoting complete price information, according to Galileo.
The system helps agents determine the best value during the booking process. It also “eliminates ‘surprise charges’ and provides guest with a clear expectation of the total price at check-out,” said Eileen Kennedy, marketing, Galileo Travel Agency Services, Americas.
Galileo is partnered with Supranational Hotels, which was involved in the design and testing phases of the tool.
