Garuda doubles up for frequent flyers
Garuda Indonesia is offering passengers travelling from Perth the opportunity to double their frequent flyer miles on international Executive Class flights.
Available for travel until the December 31, 2012, the offer provides passengers with 200% bonus miles on top of the existing award mileage when travelling one way or return on all flights ex Perth to Bali, Jakarta, Japan, Korea, China or Amsterdam.
As an example, a flight in Executive Class from Perth to Amsterdam provides 18, 224 miles. With this offer, passengers can accrue 53,771 miles – equivalent of a return economy class ticket from Perth to Denpasar or Jakarta, including a one way upgrade.
Bonus miles can be transferred to any traveller, and membership to Garuda Frequent Flyer is free.
Passengers surpassing 30,000 miles will also qualify for the airline’s gold tier membership, which includes an extra 25% bonus miles from every subsequent flight with Garuda Indonesia.
