Garuda launches website for Australia
Garuda Indonesia has launched a dedicated Australian website to provides Australian passengers with quick access to localised travel information, including immigration on board, and the carrier’s online booking facilities.
The Australian website launch is a part of Garuda Indonesia’s Quantum Leap programme which includes the expansion of its network, improved service offerings and the revitalisation of its existing fleet.
Garuda Indonesia last month announced new flights between Jakarta and Perth to link with code-share partner Etihad Airways’ services from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta.
Garuda Indonesia president & CEO, Emirsyah Satar, said as from June the Jakarta-Perth flight schedule would adjust to those of flights to and from Abu Dhabi "to facilitate Garuda Indonesia and Etihad Airways passengers travelling from the Middle East, Europe, and beyond to Western Australia and vice versa".
