A progressive company with several multi managed apartment style properties throughout New Zealand is looking for a General Manager to head up its New Zealand operation. Primary duties will include, management of property based managers and sales personnel, annual preparation and regular review of operating budgets and business plans, overseeing daily operations to ensure maximisation of occupancies and revenues and presentation of product and service.As the General Manager you will possess:
At least 5 years in a senior hotel management role (preferably in a multi property environment).
A strong understanding of business management with excellent financial management skills.
Exemplary communication and leadership skills
An understanding of positive and effective relationships with key business stakeholders.
A tertiary qualification in hospitality management
Knowledge of Body Corporates and how these work in managed properties would be looked upon favourably.
