German rail boss to visit Australia
Deutsche Bahn’s international head of the Asia-Australia region, Rudi Fischer, will meet travel agents and tourism bodies in Sydney and Melbourne during a five day visit to push the availability and suitability of German rail journeys through DB’s exclusive partnership with International Rail.
International Rail chief Jonathan Hume said that Australians were appreciating the great variety of DB tickets now accessible to all travellers.
These include flexible rail passes that provide a hop-on-hop off travel experience on DB trains that do not require reservations, domestic and international point-to-point tickets, and twin passes for small groups.
