Get serious with busking!
People planning on attending next year’s World Buskers Festival in Christchurch can now go online and work out how to get the optimum number of laughs from the 10 day event.
The official 2008 World Buskers Festival website has been launched (www.worldbuskersfestival.com) and has details of all the performers attending the festival as well as a schedule of when they will be performing.
“The performers we’ve assembled for this festival are truly world class so it certainly pays to check out the schedule so you don’t miss seeing any of them perform,’’ says festival director Jodi Wright.
2008 marks the 15th anniversary of the World Buskers Festival, which runs from January 17 to 27.
