Get tuned into Holiday FM
British Holidaymakers heading for some of Europe’s largest resorts are being offered the chance to tune in to their favourite sounds from home with the launch of Holiday FM.
The radio station reportedly features various shows from London’s Capital FM, mixed with local information provided and sponsored by tourist boards who have something to promote to visitors.
The station will reportedly soon be available in major Spanish mainland resorts and will be going live in Majorca and Ibiza “in the next few weeks”.
The Independent reports that the radio station has been set up by Tim Foster, formerly of Warner Cinemas, who is also reportedly keen to offer a similar service on cruise liners.
