Glamour model, footballer and Bake Off star join Norwegian Getaway launch
Former soap actress and glamour model, Jennifer Ellison, premiership footballer Jos Hooiveld and Great British Bake Off winner Jo Wheatley joined Norwegian Cruise Line yesterday for the launch of its newest ship.
Ellison joined cast members of Legally Blonde, the musical appearing on the 4,000 passenger ship, which will homeport in Miami and sail to and from the Caribbean all year-round.
Agents and customers were also among the 3,000 guests invited to check out Norwegian Getaway at the inaugural on-board event held in Southampton.
Although the event was invitation only, Norwegian Cruise Line gave all other agents the chance for their clients to also "try before they buy" by experiencing Norwegian Getaway with another one-night revenue mini-cruise on 14 January – with the added incentive of £30 cash-back.
Prices started from £89pp and agents are eligible for £30 cash-back if they rebook a client who sailed the one-night revenue mini-cruise on another Norwegian cruise up to 30 days after sailing.
