InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced it will open 37 new hotels across the UK over the next couple of years.
The largest hotel company in the world will create 3,000 new jobs.
IHG, whose brands include Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, InterContinetal Hotels and Resorts, says the move is in line with its strategy to open 1,200 new hotels globally.
IHG’s chief executive Andy Cosslett said: “We are the world’s biggest hotel group and investment in new hotels and the people that make them successful is vital to our growth.
“Whether you want to be a hotel porter, waiter or manager, in Birmingham, Bangkok or Berlin, we offer a terrific range of opportunities.”
