Global Travel Market launches site for visitors to the US
Meta-search network, Global Travel Market, has launched its latest site, www.usatravelmarket.com.
The site has been launched in the UK and will be gradually rolled out to other international source markets.
“This is a particularly exciting project for Global Travel Market given the scale and diversity of the US market†said CEO Dave Simmons.
He said while the US market is currently experiencing some challenges, it still represents the largest destination outside of Europe for British travellers with in excess of 4 million visits from the UK to the US in 2008.
The new site offers price comparisons on a range of product including flights, accommodation, attractions, car hire, insurance and tour operators for travellers wanting to research, plan and book their US visit.
“Following the success of Global Travel Market’s destination specific sites promoting Australia and the regions of Asia and Arabia, we felt it was time to offer our unique meta-search proposition to those travellers seeking to travel to the US,†added Simmons.
