GOL launching Miami, Orlando flights
Brazil airline GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes has announced the upcoming launch of its first nonstop flight to the US.
GOL will start flying from capital Brasília and Fortaleza to Miami and Orlando from November 4, 2018.
Service will be operated by GOL’s new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The airline is adding four more MAX 8 aircraft to its fleet by the end of the year.
The new flights are timed to offer easy onward connections to Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Cincinnati, New York LaGuardia, Detroit, Los Angeles, Indianapolis and Minneapolis via GOL’s existing partnership with Delta Air Lines.
The two airlines have a codesharing and loyalty partnership and GOL said it plans to expand this to a joint venture business alliance in the future.
