Gold Coast back on the screen
The first TV advertisement from Gold Coast Tourism in nearly 10 years will air this month.
The 30-second TV commercial that will air in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane is part of the second phase of the ‘Very Gold Coast, Very GC’ campaign.
The ad will include a montage of holiday scenes set to the signature song “Beyond the Sea”.
The advertisement is expected to play an important role in exposing the ‘new’ Gold Coast to key tourism markets.
“We believe the use of contemporary imagery greatly assists the Gold Coast in clearly conveying that this is a destination where a holidaymaker’s fantasy becomes reality,” Gold Tourism CEO Pavan Bhatia said.
The second phase of the campaign will also incorporate upgrades to the VeryGC.com website, to enable consumers to research Gold Coast experiences and activities and purchase them online via a live booking system.
