Europe’s first christian theme park could be built in Mallorca, offering live resurrections and last suppers.

The €10m development will be built on the north of the island, according to reports in The Guardian, if plans currently under review by Mallorcan officials get the go ahead.

A similar theme park in Florida is already wildly popular and offers continual shows based around the bible every day.

Developers Sigma are awaiting a decision from the town hall at Capdepera, where the park will be built and, if the company’s Argentinian christian theme park is anything to go by, the planning committee will have to pass judgement on an application for the building of a modern day Wall of Lamentations and a Roman court house.
