Google Flights expands Routehappy content partnership ATPCO
Google Flights has signed a long-term expansion deal with ATPCO to integrate all Routehappy rich content into the metasearch platform.
It maintains Google’s access to Amenities which comprises data on Wi-Fi, seat pitch, and onboard entertainment, and expands the partnership to include Universal Ticket Attributes (UTAs) and Universal Product Attributes (UPAs).
UTAs provide fare information regarding the specific benefits and restrictions like cancellation rules, baggage allowance, and upgrade options.
UPAs display in-flight features through text, photos, graphics, and videos, which improves the shopping experience for consumers.
Google Flights was one of the first metasearch platforms to integrate Routehappy’s Amenities data back in 2014.
"We’re extremely proud to expand the rich content that we provide to Google to include UTAs and UPAs," said Robert Albert, EVP Retailing at ATPCO.
