Grand Circle doubles popular China tour
Grand Circle Travel announced departure dates next year for its escorted, 14-day “China Cultural Capitals.”
“We re-introduced this classic tour of China featuring Shanghai, Xian and Beijing in 2005 and we were amazed at the pent-up demand,” said Mark Frevert, executive vice president. He added:
“Every departure sold right out. For 2006, we have doubled our departures.”
He said the trip is particularly popular with travelers because it offers three of China’s legendary cities on one trip.
The price also plays a part; it starts at $1495, including roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles, air fare in China, hotels, museum visits, and most meals.
