Grand opening for record breaking hotel Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson

Monday, 04 Aug, 2017 0

Landmark hotel Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson was officially opened this week, marking another milestone for the Port Dickson hospitality industry.

Managed by Lexis Hotel Group, it is the largest hotel in Port Dickson and located one hour from Kula Lumpur International Airport.

Notably, the 639- villa hotel is already a Guinness World Record holder, verified as the hotel with ‘the most swimming pools in a resort’ and ‘the most overwater villas in single resort.’ Each villa has its own private dip pool and steam room.

A total of 522 villas are situated directly on the water.

The opening was officiated by the chief minister of Negeri Sembilan state who said the hotel’s MICE facilities are key to growing Port Dickson’s tourism industry.

"We do not want people to come to Port Dickson only during weekends, but on weekdays as well. This is where segment such as MICE comes in to give the much-need support so that hotels and resorts here are regularly filled with customers," Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Haji Hasan said.

The resort also offers extensive dining options, a spa and kids’ club.

It is also the first five-star resort of its kind in Malaysia to construct its own heliport.
