Grand UK parent unveils new website and social channels
The UK Holiday Group – parent company of over-55s specialist Grand UK Holidays – has launched a new website and social media channels.
The refreshed site follows a redesign for Grand UK Holidays’ website last year, as the holiday group aims for a ‘fresh and positive’ look online.
Harold Burke, sales director at The UK Holiday Group, said: "The UK Holiday Group has expanded and evolved a great deal in recent years, so we needed our corporate website to reflect the range of brands that we have, and to project a modern, stylish outlook.
"Like our revamped Grand UK Holidays website, the new UKHG website was redesigned with feedback from customers, travel agents and trade partners, so it can be a one-stop shop for anyone wanting to find out more about us and our brands."
As well as links to Grand UK Holidays, the website enables users to link to other brands in the group: Glenton Holidays and Glenton Palmer; just for groups; Sunrise Direct and the hotel brands of Grand UK Hotels and Anglia Hosts.
The new website includes a blog which will feature company news, such as fundraising activities by members of staff, and regular updates about holidays and travel trends.
Accompanying the new site are social media channels, with @UKHolidayGroup on Twitter, and a presence on Facebook.
Burke added: "The new website is the culmination of many months of development, and reflects the crisp, modern look across all our brochures and marketing material.
"The over-55s market is changing fast, and the coach and groups sectors are evolving too – our brands are developing to reflect those changes, and our websites and brochures are following suit.
"We hope the websites, social media channels and blogs become a useful source of information for travel agents and trade partners."
