Greece removes Covid curbs for summer season
Greece is dropping most remaining Covid measures in the coming weeks. Greece’s health minister Thanos Plevris said the requirement for vaccine certificates or negative Covid-19 tests will be lifted from May 1. All changes will be re-evaluated on September. 1.
The compulsory use of masks indoors will be lifted from June 1, apart from some minor exceptions. All remaining caps on the number of people allowed to gather indoors will be lifted on May 1.
For the first time in two years, Greeks will also be able to celebrate Orthodox Easter.
