Brazilian carrier TAM has become the sixth airline associate member of the Guild of Travel Management Companies.
TAM is the largest airline in South America operating from its hub in Sao Paulo to more than 40 destinations within Brazil and 18 international destinations, including daily flights from Heathrow.
TAM will enjoy all the benefits of GTMC associate status including a place at the forthcoming GTMC conference in May.
GTMC chief executive Philip Carlisle said: “We are delighted to welcome TAM as a GTMC associate. Airlines need to maintain a strong presence in front of the business travel community and GTMC members provide a spot-on receptive market.”
