Gulf Air to relaunch flights to the Maldives in December
Gulf Air will resume its direct flights to the Maldives from 12 December.
The twice weekly service – on Mondays and Saturdays – will operate from London via Bahrain.
Gulf Air has been flying to Male in the Maldives since October last year.
The Maldives is exempt from the FCDO advice against non-essential travel and there is no need to quarantine for 14 days when returning to the UK, although all overseas holidays from England will be banned under the second, month-long lockdown, beginning on Thursday.
On arrival in the Maldives, tourists must present a negative PCR Covid-19 test, issued no more than 96 hours before departure.
