Gullivers acquires Go Travel
Gullivers Travel Group, through an acquisition of Pacific International Limited, has added Go Holidays, New Zealand’s largest independent travel wholesaler, to their group.
GO Holidays has serviced the New Zealand travel trade for the last 27 years. GO Holidays chief executive officer, Sarah Hunter says “GO has always held a unique position in the New Zealand market with both the public and the travel trade.
“With an annual sales turnover of just over NZ$230m GO Holidays specialises in leisure holidays around the world, sports tours, incentive and group travel. GO Holidays has also been a champion of the New Zealand traveller by being the first travel company to offer an all inclusive pricing policy which remains today and has been followed by many other companies.”
Go Holidays, with almost 230 staff, is expected to continue to operate its own brands while leveraging the greater purchasing power of the Gullivers Travel Group.
