Gutsy Women Travel, the leading tour operator for women, is offering a chance for women to get away just before the holidays on a magical 7-day Pennsylvania Christmas tour and also indulge and pamper themselves before the holiday madness sets in!

This Gutsy Women Travel package gives women the opportunity to get away and have some fun at the world-famous Hershey Park and Spa, tour a working Amish farm, have lunch with a local family, enjoy a wine tasting at Lancaster Winery, and tour the Winterthur Mansion alight with holiday decorations. As if plucked from the pages of Dickens’s savory feat, journey women will find Christmas in Pennsylvania a veritable holiday retreat.

“This is one of those Christmas holidays ladies remember and talk about for years and years,” says April Merenda, President and Co-Founder of Gutsy Women Travel.

The 7-day Pennsylvania Christmas adventure begins with a private panoramic city tour of Philadelphia, including Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Elfreth’s Alley, Love Park, Ben Franklin Parkway, and more. Vacationers are then enchanted with a walk to Reading Terminal Market, where they observe the Pennsylvania Dutch Merchants at work on their traditional delicacies. Then gutsy travelers are whisked to Lancaster Winery for wine tasting and a tour, and are then transported to the historic town of Hershey, where on arrival, ladies enjoy a panoramic tour of the town, including visits to the Milton Hershey Museum and the Hershey Gardens.

The fourth day of Gutsy Women Travel’s Pennsylvania Christmas welcomes ladies to Hersheypark, the state’s famous amusement park, which celebrates its 100th Anniversary in 2007. Following which ladies enjoy a ride through the area’s holiday lights display, known as Hershey Sweet Lights. Travelers are then transported to another historic town, New Hope, where a leisure walk around the town streets leads to a nearby Peddler’s Village, Winterthur Museum and Country Estate, which is a former summer retreat for the Du Pont family. Finally, ladies are completely captivated with a visit to the Brandywine River Museum to see its famous holiday trees.

With such small delicacies as a welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant in Rittenhouse Square, Yuletide High Tea at the Ritz Carlton, lunch at an Amish farm, a relaxing spa treatment at the Hershey Hotel’s Chocolate Spa and a farewell dinner at the Mendenhall Inn, followed by a late evening tour of the holiday display at Longwood Gardens, Gutsy Women Travel’s Pennsylvania Christmas might just be the best vacation all around.
