Hainan Airlines renews GDS agreement with Sabre
China’s Hainan Airlines has renewed a content distribution agreement with Sabre.
The SKYTRAX five-star airline has been a long term partner of Sabre, first adopting its airline software solutions a decade ago.
This includes airline planning and scheduling technology in addition to GDS distribution.
Hainan has recently added 13 new international routes to its schedule, which connect to Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, Japan and the US.
"Access to the Sabre network is essential to our ongoing success, connecting Hainan Airlines with more than 425,000 travel agents across the globe. We are rapidly increasing our operations, and it’s crucial to have trusted partners like Sabre," said Yang Fei, marketing and sales general manager for Hainan Airlines.
Rakesh Narayanan, VP airline of business at Sabre Travel Network Asia Pacific, said: "We are pleased to continue this wide-ranging partnership with Hainan Airlines, who has made [us] an integral component of their business development plan."
