Hamburg and Cologne airports snarled with delays after union disputes
More than 200 flights have been cancelled at Hamburg and Cologne airports on Friday as security personnel walked off the job at two airports in a wage dispute, AP reports.
Frankfurt and Munich, Germany’s main hubs were not affected.
These "warning strikes" were staged after the union and employers reached a stalemate on negotiations last week. The union wants a 30 percent pay rise while employers have offered a 9% increase.
