Hard Rock Hotel checking in to Daytona Beach
Hard Rock International plans to open in its fourth Florida location with the unveiling of plans for Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach.
The 200-room resort is expected to open later this year and comes with signature Hard Rock amenities.
These include a Body Rock gym, a Rock Spa, 20,000 square feet of meeting space, kids club and a swimming pool.
It will open on a beachfront location currently occupied by the Desert Inn.
Hard Rock is partnering with Summit Hospitality Management Group for a complete renovation which will cost about $40 million.
"We’re thrilled to bring our product to visitors and locals alike in Daytona Beach," said Marco Roca, Hard Rock International executive vice president of global hotel development.
Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau executive director Lori Campbell Baker described it as a ‘perfect fit’ for the area.
"The transformation of this property really speaks to the fact that the destination is in the midst of a major resurgence. We’re excited to add Hard Rock to our accommodations line-up."
