Hard Rock reveals first hotels for South America

Hard Rock International has announced entry into South America for its hotel casino brand with three properties planned for Brazil.
 
First up is the 400-room Hard Rock Hotel Brasilia which will be sited at Brasilia Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport.
 
It will feature 17,000 square feet of event space, a signature restaurant and rooftop lounge, a spa and fitness center.
 
Also planned are the 303-room Hard Rock Hotel Caldas Novas and Hard Rock Hotel Itapema, a 175- room conversion on the beachfront in Southern Brazil.
 
"Brazilians have always been great fans of the Hard Rock brand and we could not be more excited to announce Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos entrance into the country, whose famed lively culture is in tune with our brand," said Marco Roca, executive vice president of global hotel development.
 
Each of the properties will feature Hard Rock signature amenities and entertainment programming, including the Rock Spa and Body Rock fitness facilities.
