"Have fun" with new Le’a Le’a air fares to Hawaii

Tuesday, 10 Mar, 2008 0

Hawaii has just become more affordable with Hawaiian Airlines’ new Le’A  Le’A (Have Fun!) air fares from 20 Australian destinations to Honolulu and the tropical neighbour islands of Maui, Kauai and The Big Island of Hawaii.

The Le’A  Le’A (Have Fun) fares start at just AUD$799 per person from Sydney to Honolulu, plus taxes of approximately $360, which vary according to the date of travel and the destinations visited and are for sale from today, 08 March 2008.

Hawaiian Airlines has also introduced Le’A  Le’A  (Have Fun) fares from other Australian destinations, in partnership with domestic airline partner Virgin Blue.

“Hawaii has always been attractive to Australians for its sun, surf, sightseeing and culture,” said recently appointed Sherilyn Robinson, Manager, Sales and Marketing Australia for Hawaiian Airlines.

“Combined with the strong Australian Dollar, these competitive new air fares also make Hawaii even greater value for money.”

Ms Robinson said the airline’s choice of Hawaiian terms such as “Le’A Le’A” reflected not only the deep local culture of Hawaii, but the airline’s integral role in the Hawaiian community.

“We are not just an airline flying to Hawaii,” said Ms Robinson. “We launched our services 79 years ago, linking the islands of Hawaii, and later the US mainland and international destinations. Our cabin crews are Hawaiian. Our inflight service is Hawaiian.”  “No airline knows Hawaii like we do.”

The selection of fares quoted below includes taxes and charges, correct as at 08 March, 2008. All are based on Wednesday departures from Australia in the low season, from 01-30 November . Taxes can change without notice.
