Haven announces multi-million pound park refurb
Haven Holidays will invest a further £40 million this year sprucing up its 35 parks across the UK.
The company said all its parks are currently having work done to be ready for when they open on March 18.
It said it had a 12% increase in repeat bookings this year had prompted its decision to continue investing in the parks’ services.
"We have a high proportion of repeat customers every year but what has surprised even us is the increase in the number of customers who experienced Haven for the very first time last year," said a company spokesman.
Some 2013 developments include:
- New fish and chip shops at Craig Tara, Greenacres, Perron Sands, Wild Duck and Rockley Park
- New sea-facing terrace at the Mash and Barrel bar at Craig Tara
- New Live Lounge entertainment venue at Presthaven
- New double-glazed and centrally heated caravan models at many parks
