Haven becomes official partner of Team GB
Haven has become an official partner with Team GB in the build up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The partnership, made in agreement with the British Olympic Association, will give Haven guests the chance to meet Team GB athletes and their mascot, Pride the Lion, at a number of events held at Haven parks across the UK.
Athletes will be sharing their experiences as part of Team GB with the aim of inspiring the next generation of sports enthusiasts.
Haven guests will also be encouraged to take part in a range of onsite games.
Managing director Jane Bentall said: "We will strive to bring Team GB and their athletes closer to our holiday makers and holiday home owners across England, Scotland and Wales and help those young athletes realise their dreams in getting to Tokyo 2020."
British Olympic Association CEO Bill Sweeney said: "We feel sure there is real overlap between loyal Haven customers and the Team GB fanbase.
"We’re excited by the creative discussions we’ve already had about how Team GB can promote activity and fun across all of Haven’s parks, including the inclusion of Olympic sports and initiatives linked to Team GB on holiday parks during and outside of Games time. With Tokyo 2020 under 18 months away, they join us at the perfect time."
