Haven to extend season for accommodation-only breaks
Haven will extend its 2020 season until the end of November for the first time in its history.
The parks operator will make its new accommodation-only Haven Hideaway offering available at 16 parks across the UK for an additional four weeks until 30 November.
Haven Hideaway, launched in July to allow guests to maintain social distancing, provides self-catered accommodation on the coast, as well as facilities such as takeaway food options, supermarkets and launderettes.
In addition, Haven is adding plenty more dog-friendly accommodation to each participating park.
Director of Guest and Proposition Gerard Tempest said: "With a number of travel restrictions in place, and previous closures to holiday parks throughout the UK, there are many guests that weren’t able to enjoy the holiday they had previously planned for 2020.
"We hope that by extending our season, we’re able to allow more people the chance to get a break by the coast.
"Our 2020 and 2021 sales have been strong across all regions in the UK and since launching Haven Hideaway in May, we’ve seen web bookings increase by 96% over a one-week period.
"Because of this, we know holiday makers are still looking for the chance to safely get away during the pandemic and want to be able to provide that for as many people as possible."
In addition to extending the season, Haven will continue to offer its Coronavirus Book with Confidence guarantee on all November bookings, allowing guest to change their break up until three days before their arrival if they can’t travel due to coronavirus.
The extended Haven Hideaway offer is available at the following 16 parks:
* Berwick, Northumberland
* Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset
* Caister-on-Sea, Norfolk
* Combe Haven, Sussex
* Craig Tara, Scotland
* Devon Cliffs, Devon
* Golden Sands, Lincolnshire
* Hafan Y Mor, North Wales
* Kiln Park, South Wales
* Lakeland, Lake District
* Marton Mere, Blackpool
* Presthaven, North Wales
* Perran Sands, Cornwall
