Hawaiian adding more LA flights for winter
Citing increasing demand from Southern California, Hawaiian Airlines will add extra flights to the Aloha State from Los Angeles for the upcoming winter season.
The carrier will add a second flight from Los Angeles to Kahului, Maui, from November 20 to January 12, 2015.
The airline claims the extra flight will add another 20,000 seats to the Maui market.
There will be four extra services weekly and it will operate daily between November 20-30.
Also, a fourth flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu will run from December 5 to December 22.
"It’s never too early to plan your trip for the holidays so we are very pleased to offer these additional flights between Los Angeles and the Hawaiian Islands," said Peter Ingram, Hawaiian Airlines executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
"The demand for travel between Southern California and Hawaii is increasing especially during peak season so we are happy to answer the call for more flights from our customers."
