Hawaiian Airlines will launch non-stop flights between Brisbane and Honolulu three times weekly from November 28.

The new flights will connect in Honolulu with same-carrier, same-day services to the islands of Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island.

Hawaiian’s Brisbane services will add more than 40,000 seats annually between Australia and Hawaii, and increase the airline’s total seat numbers from Australia by 38%.

Hawaiian Airlines flight HA 444 will depart Brisbane at 6:35pm Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, cross the international dateline and arrive in Honolulu at 7:50am the same day, a journey time of approximately nine hours 15 minutes.

The return service, flight HA 443, will depart Honolulu at 9:45am every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and land in Brisbane at 4:00pm the following day.

Ticket sales for the new services will start at a later date to be announced.

Hawaiian’s Brisbane flights will be operated with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, seating 262 passengers in a two-class cabin.

Hawaiian Airlines currently operates daily Airbus A330-200 services from Sydney.
