Thursday, 25 Jun, 2004 0

Worldchoice UK chairman and managing director Colin Heal and vice-chairman Keith Wilson have been re-elected to the consortium’s board.

The duo achieved almost 80% of the votes cast in results unveiled at the Worldchoice UK agm in Peterborough.

It is the seventh time Mr Heal has been re-elected to the board of Worldchoice UK since becoming chairman in 1992 and the third time for Mr Wilson, who is also sales and marketing director.

The third candidate, Steve Pattenden (Double S Travel), failed to get onto the board.

Worldchoice directors are elected by shareholders to serve two-year periods, with elections held for two out of the four directors in rotation each year. The other directors are John Lawrence, technology and membership services, and Chris Bailey, HR and membership recruitment.
