Heathrow security in spotlight after second armed robbery
Security at London Heathrow is under scrutiny after a second armed robbery took place at the airport at seven thirty this morning.
Two armed robbers are believed to have got away with around $3million in cash that was being transferred from a South African Airways flight to a security van. It is the second major robbery at the airport in just over a month.
The security guard was forced to drive out of the airport. The robbers then transferred the money to another van and got away.
It follows an earlier robbery on February 11 when a gang escaped with £4.6million.
