Hebridean Island Cruises opens sales for 2027 cruise season
Hebridean Island Cruises has opened sales for 2027 itineraries aboard iconic ship, Hebridean Princess.
The programme features a new photography cruise, a new European voyage to the Netherlands, and four ‘Footloose’ walking itineraries.
It also sees a return to the south coast of England and London’s Tower Bridge.
The 2027 programme has 37 itineraries, ranging from four to eight nights between March and November.
As well as the most remote parts of the Scottish Highlands and islands, it forays to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and southern England as well as Normandy, the Channel Islands, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The 2027 programme includes:
New Behind the Lens: Capturing the Hebrides – a seven-night cruise round trip from Oban with one of the most respected landscape photographers, Colin Prior, who will help guests develop their skills as they explore the coastal scenery of the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Departs 29 June with prices from £7,570 per person based on two sharing.
New: Cities of Canals & Culture – an eight-night journey from London’s Tower Bridge to Dover as Hebridean Princess makes her maiden voyage to the Netherlands taking in Bruges, Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam, as well as Dunkirk. Departs 28 July with prices from £9,590 per person.
Four seven-night ‘Footloose’ walking tours – Footloose Through the Inner Sound departing 6 April; Footloose from Skye to the Shiants departing 8 July; Footloose to the Celtic Isles departing 7 September; and Footloose in Knapdale and the Inner Isles departing 5 October. They feature daily walks catering to different fitness levels, with knowledgeable guides providing insights into the local culture, history and nature.
Two mystery cruises – a seven-night Spring Surprise cruise round-trip from Oban departing 18 May and a seven-night Autumn Surprise cruise round-trip from Oban departing 12 October. On these cruises, the captain will take guests to some of his favourite destinations along Scotland’s west coast and through the remote Hebridean Islands.
On the Trail of Charles Rennie Mackintosh – a four-night cruise round trip from Greenock following in the footsteps of Scotland’s most celebrated 20th century architect and designer. Departs 5 March with prices from £2,380 per person.
St Kilda Wildlife Adventure – a seven-night cruise round trip from Oban to explore the archipelago of St Kilda, an extreme Atlantic outpost and home to Europe’s largest colony of seabirds including gannets and puffins. The islands also support unique species including sheep, field mice and wrens, making it a fascinating natural island environment.
Two food and drink themed cruises – a seven-night Flavours of the Hebrides cruise round trip from Oban departing 20 April and an eight-night Flavours of the Celtic Coasts cruise from Cardiff to Oban departing 20 August. These gastronomic voyages explore and celebrate the culinary heritage of the regions with carefully curated experiences, including a Champagne reception at Duart Castle hosted by the clan chief, Sir Lachlan Maclean.
The 48-guest Hebridean Princess is an iconic vessel which was twice chartered by Queen Elizabeth II for private family holidays.
