Hillgate Travel sold to international TMC
Business travel agency Hillgate Travel has been bought by international travel management company Reed & Mackay.
The addition takes Reed & MacKay’s global turnover over £600 million.
Group CEO Fred Stratford said: "This is a really exciting time for our people and our clients. There is a passion for service at the heart of both businesses that makes this a very natural fit. Together we will be even stronger."
Hillgate Travel CEO Anthony Rissbrook said: "Both Hillgate and Reed & Mackay have invested heavily in our wholly owned, client facing technology. We are very excited about the opportunity to bring together the best features from both platforms, accelerating our delivery of industry leading technology to our clients."
Reed & Mackay bought Gray’s Travel Management in January 2017 and France-based travel management company Frequent Flyer Travel Paris in November.
It has also opened office in Singapore earlier this month and it launched a new mobile booking tool in February.
