Hilton opens new resort in RAK
The Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa, Hilton’s second property and first ‘Worldwide Resort’ in the emirate opened in January, with 151 villa suites right on the beach front.
The first phase sees the launch of the deluxe villa suites all within 30 metres of an 800 metre stretch of white, sandy beach and features private patios with mountain and sea views. The resort also introduces two restaurants and two bars according to ttnworldwide.com.
The new resort is set in a private bay and surrounded by the white sands of the UAE’s most northern emirate. With tradition in mind, the Worldwide Resort represents an Arabesque design, providing visitors with a sense of Arabian culture.
In March 2007, a spectacular 2,000 sqm sea-facing spa will open with nine treatment rooms and other fitness facilities. On completion in 2008, the property will provide a further 330 rooms.
