Hilton teams up with Playa Hotels for all-inclusive resort expansion
Hilton has sealed a strategic business alliance with Playa Hotels & Resorts to fuel further expansion into the all-inclusive resort market.
Two new branded resorts owned and managed by Playa Hotels & Resorts will open in the Caribbean and Latin America this year, the first phase of up to ten all-inclusive resorts the two companies are planning by 2025.
Hilton and Playa are introducing Hilton La Romana and Hilton Playa del Carmen this year, which have a combined 1,269 guestrooms.
Hilton’s has nearly 140 properties in its Caribbean and Latin America portfolio including 90 in development.
Hilton is also introducing the first Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts property in Mexico.
