Holidaybreak strengthens management team in line with acquisition strategy
European specialist holiday group, Holidaybreak, has appointed Chris Bentley to the newly created position of head of corporate development.
One of his main responsibilities will be to identify possible acquisition targets in line with the group’s strategy of investing in European specialist holiday companies.
Bentley previously held a similar role at MyTravel Group but left in July 2005 following a restructure.
He has also worked as an accountant and has held a number of corporate finance and strategic development roles both in private practice and in industry.
Holidaybreak chief executive Carl Michel said: “The Group has the financial strength to invest in growing sectors and add to our portfolio of brands. Chris will help us do that, in order to deliver profitable growth to shareholders.”
