HolidayIQ debuts India’s first mobile-only travel marketplace
HolidayIQ has launched India’s first ever mobile-only travel package marketplace, focused on activity based holidays.
Simply called ‘Holidays,’ it is integrated as a dedicated platform within the HolidayIQ android mobile app and offers more than 1000 activity based packages which can be filtered by budget, duration, holiday type and activity.
Detailed individual listings include the places visited on individual itineraries with photos, and information on relevant hotels.
"There are two major shifts in the way Indians plan holidays today. Over 70 per cent of holidays planned on HolidayIQ are through mobile devices. Secondly, we are moving from destination-led holidays to experience-led ones," said Hari Nair, founder and CEO of HolidayIQ.
"We have aggregated the first ever mobile-only activity-led vacations marketplace. People can also review all these holidays individually on the app helping other travellers plan better."
HolidayIQ says it has more than three million users in India and lists 2,000 destinations with 50,000 accommodation options.
