Sunday, 06 Apr, 2020 0

Bus services on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge have been suspended.

The ‘Golden Bus’ service which links Hong Kong and Macau will be postponed until further notice, and comes after ferry services were halted several weeks ago.

The bridge will remain open for road freight services and a reduced timetable for private cars.

The Hong Kong SAR government recently announced that all visitors will undergo quarantine, and it will not accept any residents from Macau.

Macau has taken over a dozen hotels to house visitors and returning residents under quarantine.

The former Portuguese colony announced the 44th case of coronavirus at the weekend.
