Hoseasons boosts trade support
A new travel trade sales team has been appointed by Hoseasons to support travel agents.
The six-strong team, headed by head of sales Zena Calderbank who joined from Cresta Holidays last year, will provide a new level of support to trade partners of the self-catering operator.
Business development director Pali Badwal said, “We have decided that we need to give an enhanced level of support to our partners in the travel trade, and that is why we have created a new team of regional sales executives, so that every agent we work with will be supported by a dedicated person in their area.
“We’re particularly pleased to have recruited a team of people with such a diverse experience in the travel trade, as this will help us make sure we truly understand the needs of agents.
“The skills and experience they have complements each other, and I’m confident we have put a great team on the road to help agents.”
The five new regional sales executives are:
*Ryan Carroll (Scotland), who joins after 13 years at Thomas Cook.
*Rebekah England (South East England and South Wales), who joins from Medhotels.com.
*Lisa Jacobs (Central England and Wales) joins from Travel Counsellors.
*Sarah Smith (North of England), joins from Going Places.
*Denise Farr (East of England) has worked for Hoseasons for four years.
Another addition to the team is expected shortly, to cover the South East England.
