Hoseasons launches new pan-European campaign group

Thursday, 10 Jul, 2013 0

The Hoseasons Group has joined forces with some of Europe’s leading holiday homes companies to create a new campaign group.

The European Holiday Home Association will initially represent companies that between them offer more than 100,000 private homes for rent in more than 30 European countries, but the founding members hope other rental agencies will join in the coming months.

"What has become clear in all the work we do in this area is the influence that Brussels and European legislation has on our businesses, but to date there has been no organisation which represents the self-catering rental sector at that level," said Geoff Cowley, managing director of The Hoseasons Group.

"We are therefore delighted to have been asked to be a founding member of the new European Holiday Home Association, along with other leading rental companies from across Europe, and we hope the organisation will be effective in representing the interests of our owners."
