Hospitality tech firm eZee Technosys offering free platform for small hotels

Technology is an essential tool for the hotel industry but for small independents adoption is low due to relatively high start up costs.

One hospitality technology solutions provider hopes to change this by offering its hotel tech platform free of charge to smaller operators.

eZee Technosys has launched eZee Ultimate, a suite of free to use hospitality technology products which it says gives independents a cost neutral way to maximise efficiency and create new sales channels.

"Almost 75% of the hotel industry comprises small and independent hotels who aren’t technology-savvy and have for long avoided adopting automation tools like a cloud PMS. All we wanted to do was provide small to medium sized hotels the technology which until now was only available to the bigger players of the industry," said Aeijaz Sodawala, CEO of eZee Technosys.

The company is offering a free cloud PMS, a channel manager, web booking engine, hotel website, guest feedback management system and a mobile portal.

A cloud POS system for restaurants will be rolled out in the near future.

Vipul Kapoor, CTO and co-founder said there are no associated startup costs required and hotels only pay a commission for confirmed booking gained through eZee’s channel manager and web booking engine, which is capped to the equivalent cost of normal subscription fees.

"We were told that even the monthly subscription fees can be costly for smaller hotels so we decided to give away the technology for free. There is no investment required and hotels pay us only when they get business."

Recognising not all small hotels are tech-savvy, the company says it aims to provide unlimited  training prior to going live.

India based eZee Technosys has a portfolio of more than 5,500 clients in over 140 countries providing hotel management, online distribution, restaurant management, guest feedback and mobile applications solutions.
