Last minute Africa

For travelers who can take advantage of last minute deals, Wildland Adventures is offering a six-night green season safari to Zambia for $11995 per person, a savings of more than $1,000 per person. The one caveat is that travel must take place prior to March 31. The green season safari includes all internal flights within Zambia, guided walks through the Luangwa Valley – widely known as the best walking safari destination in Africa – canoeing down the Zambezi River and game drives in open-roof 4×4 vehicles. Four nights are spent at the award-winning Mfuwe Lodge overlooking the Mfuwe Lagoon.

African wildlife at discounted prices

Africa Odyssey is offering a chance to see the great migration caving in the Serengeti which reaches its peak this month. With approximately 8,000 wildebeest born each day, the highest concentration of predators in Africa is now underway. These include lions, cheetahs and leopards. Odyssey is offering a four-day visit to Alex Walker’s Serian Camp from $2800 per person, a savings of $1,100. Participants can see animals in open sided 4X4 vehicles. The price excludes international flights.

Spa getaway in St. Lucia

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa in St. Lucia is offering savings of up to 60% for spa getaway packages this spring. Guests must book by Feb. 29. Rates start at $174 per person per night. The package is available through April 30 and includes room, one spa treatment daily, daily activities, champagne toasts and other perks.
