Las Vegas is on sale at Southwest Airlines Vacations where travelers booking a flight plus hotel at the Las Vegas Vacation Package at MGM resorts save up to $125 per reservation. Travelers also will receive up to 40 percent off hotel stays when staying for four or more nights. A special promotional code is required.

At about the same time, Funjet launched its “Funjet Away for the Holidays Sale” for travelers looking for getaways from Dec. 18 to Jan. 3l. Offers include reduced rates at select hotels in Vegas, Mexico and the Caribbean. Free night deals are also available in Hawaii and Orlando. “Plus, many resorts are offering spa credits, kids stay free offers and discounts on golf to give customers a variety of offers no matter where they wish to visit,” the site says. FunJet says it’s “industry leading travel protection program” includes such consumer-friendly points as a cancellation policy with refunds for any reason.

The Trump Hotel Collection is offering 30 percent off all suites booked on one day, Nov. 28. Properties include New York (Central Park and SoHo), Chicago, Las Vegas, Waikiki, Panama and Toronto. Travel must be made Jan. 1-March 31 of next year. Reservations must also be made online only at www.TRUMPHOTELCOLLECTION.com/Monday.

Westin offer appeals to meeting-goers

The Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman is reaching out to meeting groups during the Caribbean’s high season with offers that include 50 percent discounts on resort charges and a complimentary room for each 40 rooms booked. Other perks of the “Westin Casuarina Value Meetings” package include suite upgrades, complimentary drinks and wi-fi, among others. Grand Cayman is just one hour from Miami and four hours from New York City airports. The Casuarina has 60,000 square feet of outdoor space and 9,000 square feet indoors. Available dates for the winter season meeting package include January 2-30, February 4-10 and 12-17, March 9-21 and 25-31, and April 1-17 and 22-30, 2012. Sage chain brightens up holidays

Sage Hotels says the holidays “just got a little brighter” with its half-off sale launching at 41 properties across 17 states, including Colorado, Florida and California. “The deal cuts room rates by up to 50 percent for guests who book before Nov. 21, 2011, for travel from November 23, 2011, through January 8, 2012,” the chain said.
